Play Therapy
Play therapy helps children to explore their feelings, express themselves and make sense of their life experiences. Play is a child's natural medium to learn, communicate and to explore their inner worlds, without the need for words.
Play therapists offer a variety of creative art forms including a sand tray, clay work, painting, and arts and crafts. There are musical instruments, dance props, puppets, dressing up and stories.
Out in the natural world
Sometimes we may venture outside to collect flowers for a potion, make nests, swing from trees or simply be in the elements of wind, rain, sun or snow. The natural world can be a regulating place where children may need to burn high energy or become more alert to the world around them.
